Explore the Iberian region of Murcia, called Europe’s orchard because of its long agricultural traditions and for its fruit, vegetable, and flower production and exports. We will pick you up straight from the pier and start our tour by heading to the city of Murcia which is located only 50 km (31 miles) from port.
On the way we will stop at the baroque sanctuary of Fuensanta virgin located at a natural park with great views of the city of Murcia and the Segura valley.
When we reach Murcia we will visit the old quarter with its magnificent Cathedral which has been expanding for 500 years.
At the end of our visit we will return to Cartagena to discover the historic port city, the roman theater, and the old city quarters.
We can also include a visit to the Conception Park to enjoy impressive panoramic views from the historic castle. At the end of the tour we will return you safely to your ship before departure time – guaranteed!
