Meet the guide in Cavour square at the pear n. 4 and departure with public boat to the central part of the lake. Lake Como is narrow and embanked between high mountains so the best way to discover it in its romantic atmosphere is exactly to admire it from the boat. During the boat trip the guide will provide information about the nature, the history and geography of the area talking about the villages and the villas that lie on these shores (the neoclassical Villa Olmo, Villa Erba, Villa D'este, now luxury hotel, Villa Pizzo, Fontanelle, Passalacqua and Pliniana).
Opposite the characteristic village of Careno there is the Castle of Urio and Villa Oleandra, George Clooney house.
Once reached the central part of the lake, the horizon becomes wider and more moved. After passing by the Comacina Island, the only island of the lake, we can admire the many and suggestive churches, ancient villas (such as Villa Balbiano, Cassinella and Balbianello, perched on the point of Lavedo promontory.
At Tremezzo Villa Carlotta stands out among the others with its superb park rich in numerous exotic essences such as8 azaleas,camellias, magnolias, rhododendrons.
Stop in Bellagio, the promontory considered "the pearl of the lake".
Free time for lunch.
Visit of the characteristic Borgo; possibility of shopping and return to Como by hydrofoil.
