About this tour...
Do you find yourself wanting to discover the famous beautiful artistic bohemian district of Montmartre, but are afraid of getting lost and not getting the most of your trip? Well I promise that I will be the perfect guide for this adventure.
To start off, we'll meet in front of the Abbesses metro station where we'll eventually start to stroll along the streets of Montmartre. Just imagine Montmartre before it became part of the city: its mills, vineyards, cabarets, artists workshop and etc. Not only will you be able to imagine it, but you'll be able to discover them with me. We will visit the magnificent Sacré-Coeur Basilica and go discover the artists working on the charming Place du Tertre. Upon arriving, we could also have the possibility of taking a break in order to taste one of Paris' biggest secrets, which happens to be the most delicious crêpe in Paris!
So take a leap of faith and follow me as we progressively live through the magic of Montmartre. Our adventure will lead us down the hill of Montmartre and in front of the magnificent Moulin Rouge where we'll finish this tour.

Sylvanie
I'm a French Art Historian and a state licensed guide. Born in a small village on the west coast of France, in a farmer's family, i have studied Art History in Europe's most beautiful cities and i made my way, today, to the big city that is Paris. My knowledge comes from more than 7 years of Art History studies in France and Italy, including getting my Master’s degree at Rome’s University of La Sapienza. While studying in Rome, five years ago, i began my career as a guide, sharing my love for European Art and Art history with tourists and locals. I then came back to France, in order to study for the State's curator exam, while working as an intern in an Art gallery. Through all these experiences, i has realized that i was more interested in teaching, sharing my knowledge and interact with people from all around the world, that's why today giving tours is my full time job, and full time hobby!
