Your tour starts in the Old Town, where you can admire the 16th-century buildings, many now transformed with the artistically painted doors, as new restaurants and bars where locals go for a night out.
A gentle walk in one of the oldest streets - the Santa Maria street, will take you to the Farmer’s Market, where your guide will show you the local fish, flowers and fruits... (you can even sample some fruit)
Nearby you can admire one of the island’s skilled arts, Madeira hand embroidery. Then stroll along the main shopping street, towards the 15th-century Cathedral, before continuing to your final stop for a Madeira wine tasting at one of the oldest wine cellars of Funchal.
