Discover with me the Troodos mountains! Let's climb up into the pine-clad and scented, thickly wooded mountain range of Troodos. It's known as the green heart and watershed of Cyprus for obvious reasons. It is endowed with a most unique ophiolitic geology but also very rich flora and particular fauna. A true paradise, especially for nature lovers. There are several nature trails to choose from: Artemis, Atalanti, Persephone, or Caledonian with its spectacular waterfall. According to time availability and 'fitness', we may do one or another. Their altitude varies from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. Next, we may enjoy a coffee break or lunch somewhere around or get to a typical village below for relaxing and/or wine tasting. Then, let's take the way back.
