About this tour

Located on the island of Lovon, in Stockholm archipelago , the Castle is the private residense of H.M. the King of Sweden since 1981.
Designed by French arch. Nicodemus Tessin ,has a rich history.In 1600 .it was used by Queen Elenora Hedvig as a summer residence.
In 1800, the castel was gifted to crown princess Louise Ulrika and she redigned the interior in the French Rococo style.
And much of the compound is open to the public.
