This tour will take you to the most popular destination outside Barcelona to explore mount-Montserrat with its spectacular views and mountain-top Basilica, with personal pickup and drop-off from the hotel, cruise port, or the airport.
During this tour you can learn about the legend of the Black Virgin and enjoy a performance by the “La Escolanía”, which is the oldest children’s choir in Europe (if available). You can do some walking on your own, shop for local cheese & jam, or just take in the amazing views for a little longer.
Also, at Montserrat, there is a self-help cafeteria style restaurant and you can buy anything you prefer among the local products. I would not say this is gourmet style dining by any means but a place to have lunch on the go as we are mainly interested in providing sights during this day and there is a lot to cover :-)
If you are staying in Barcelona for a few days, you also have the choice of being dropped of at Sagrada Familia at the end of the tour and we can buy tickets for you so you can go inside! After your inside-visit, you can easily take a taxi going back to your hotel or anywhere in the city center you wish to go to.

Please wear comfortable shoes for walking since there will be lots of walking involved during your visit at Montserrat. If you choose the option to be dropped of at Sagrada Familia at the end of your tour with us and if you plan to go inside the church, please be aware of the following dress code:
