If you want to visit a different and fascinating Venice, if you especially like Venetian Renaissance painting, don't miss this tour in the heart of the St Polo district.
I will pick you up at the exit of your cruise ship and very comfortably seated in a private boat taxi I will accompany you to the Franciscan Church dei Frari, one of the most imposing in Venice, in Venetian Gothic style, which houses exceptional works of art, such as Titian's Assunta, Bellini's Sacra Conversazone, paintings by Bartolomeo e Alvise Vivarini, sculptures by Donatello and Alessandro Vittoria, tombs of doges and artists such as Titian and Antonio Canova.
At the exit of the church there will be your gondola waiting for you for a 30-minute ride through the small canals to the big canal and back.
Just next door we will then visit the famous Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Tintoretto's absolute masterpiece with more than 60 paintings by this painter in their original site, an opportunity to get to know and understand better this genius of the Renaissance.
Before taking the boat taxi back to the port there will be an icecream break at a gelateria well known for the quality of its production.

This tour is done every day except on Sunday morning and on the occasion of other religious celebrations that lead to the closure of the Church of the Friars as well as on the days of special closure of the Scuola Grande di S. Rocco.
Starting times and even the length of the tour are flexible and can be easily adapted to your needs and to your ship departure time.
